  1.         Quick Reference Guide of HotKeys used in 1stReader v2.00.

  5. HOTKEYS.TXT is an ASCII text file containing all the special keys that
  6. help you maneuver within 1stReader.  The instructions laid out below
  7. will show you how to add the HOTKEYS.TXT file to your 1stReader
  8. environment.

  11.        Adding the HOTKEYS - Quick Reference Guide to 1stReader:
  12. ======================================================================

  14. Copy the HOTKEYS.TXT file to your main 1stReader directory.  (This is
  15. usually C:\1ST in most installations.)
  16.  
  17. Then use one of the following methods...
  18.  
  19.   o  Access method 1: add a line to your $$1ST.CMD file...
  20.               Display HotKeys,DISPLAY=HOTKEYS.TXT
  21.      This method uses 1stReader's internal display facility.
  22.  
  23.   o  Alternate access method 2: add a line to your $$1ST.CMD file...
  24.               Edit HotKeys,1STEDIT HOTKEYS.TXT /NOCLS /CURSOR_OFF
  25.      This method uses 1stReader's supplied external editor.

  27.   o  Alternate access method 3: add a line to your $$1ST.CMD file...
  28.               List HotKeys,LIST HOTKEYS.TXT /EXIT /NOCLS /CURSOR_OFF
  29.      This method uses Veron D. Buerg's LIST shareware program.

  31. After employing any (or all) of the above access methods, a simple
  32. pressing of the F7 key while in 1stReader will provide you with a
  33. menu for selecting the HOTKEYS.TXT file.
